Enjoy a seven-night (Saturday-Saturday) stay year-round at "Casa Piazza", a private 5-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom 8,000 square foot luxury villa located in La Punta, "the most exclusive gated community in Mexico" on the Santiago Peninsula between Manzanillo and Santiago bays. This fairy-tale tropical paradise is a mix of impressive private estates, lush tropical forests and sun-washed beaches. The colorful port city of Manzanillo is just 30 minutes away. The Manzanillo area is a crown jewel in Mexico's Pacific Riviera, located 150 miles south of Puerto Vallarta and 350 miles north of Acapulco.

This luxurious home has sculpted grounds, a tiled and heated 26-foot-long swimming pool, two separate villa palapas (outdoor living areas), including a 1,600 square foot rooftop palapa with a kitchen, wet bar, dining area and Jacuzzi. At every turn you'll find striking views, comfort and style, balconies, and large windows that admit the cooling sea breezes.

The villa will easily accommodate 10 guests comfortably, with a maximum occupancy of 12. The outdoor dining pavilion seats 12 guests adjacent to a modern, fully equipped kitchen with luxury gourmet appliances.

This privately-owned casa was custom built in 1998 and is a beautiful multi-level blending of Mexican and Italian Mediterranean architecture. Created by the owner and by Italian designer Paolo Cressini, Casa Piazza has an open, airy floor plan designed for relaxed tropical living and lively entertaining and is flawlessly maintained by year-round on-site staff.

Your villa's staff includes a chef, manager, houseman, and a maid providing 5-star daily housekeeping. The Chef will prepare meals on-site to your taste as well as graciously accommodating your special dietary needs (cost of food and beverages is not included).

Unusual and well-thought-out touches catch your eye everywhere in the villa, such as custom made hardwood furniture, Mexican tile work, American antiques and Malaysian chairs. All bedrooms have king beds, private balconies, air conditioners and fans. Some beds are adapted from antique farmhouse doors and the floors are tile, brick and stone. The sprawling living and family rooms are perfect for relaxation with comfortable sofas, satellite TVs, VCR/DVD player, a film library, games, ping pong table, books and recreational diversions galore.

Children are welcome! The culture here is quite family-oriented, and the villa's staff has a great deal of experience in caring for younger guests. A baby bed, crib, special diets and babysitting services are available upon request. The villa also has lots of toys and games, including a ping-pong table and croquet.

You will enjoy complimentary access to the exclusive La Escondida Beach Club, an easy four-minute stroll away. The Beach Club has an 800-foot long beach with ocean and bay frontage, a lap pool, and a gym. Much of the time, you will be the only one on this hidden gem of a beach. There is a stunning view of Manzanillo in the distance, plus great snorkeling and sunbathing on the floating pontoon just offshore. Other nearby beaches include Playa de Audiencia (where Dudley Moore and Bo Derek filmed "10"), Las Hada, La Boquita and Salagua, plus Miramar and Olas Altas for surfing.

The world-famous La Mantarraya golf course at the Las Hadas resort is just over the hill from Casa Piazza. Other nearby courses are Isla Navidad, Club Santiago and El Tamarindo. Across the street are four semi-private hard tennis courts (open only to La Punta guests; racquets available at the Casa) and are lit for night play. Other activities available are hiking, road and mountain bike rental and tours, horseback riding, wave runners, SCUBA, and snorkeling. Some activities available for an additional fee.

Blackout dates: Easter week, Thanksgiving week, Christmas week and New Year's week.

Minimum age for renter is 25. Property is ideal for couples and families.

Travel is valid 12 months from date of purchase. Reservations must be made at least 60 days in advance and are subject to availability. Certificates cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. All packages have a no refund policy. Suggested retail value is calculated using rack room rates.
